Please Note: Always be sure to use whipping cream rather than single cream. Making whipped cream requires the consistency of a WHIPPING CREAM, as single is too thin and double is too thick to achieve a perfect whipped cream and to retain its shape for the maximum time.
A single cartridge canister will whip a 0.5 litre of cream, therefore should you be using a 1 litre whipper it will need just 2 cartridges. Your 0.5 litres of whipping cream will create approximately 1.5 litres of finished product. Not only does this realise an increased volume of whipped cream in comparison to mechanical beating/whipping, but the texture is both denser and tastier than that of cream from disposable aerosol cans.
